Yay for Keegan Hirst....sorry for him that his journey included the all too usual route of trying to be straight by marrying a woman and having kids....but hopefully they all don't come out too hurt.
He is the first British player to come out as gay while playing the sport, although he is second openly gay Rugby League star in the UK.
Guys like him are the ones who have my total admiration for taking the step while still playing...they can do so much good for opening up sports to fully out homo participation.....
