I'm biased - as a NYC resident, I think Bloomberg is a fantastic leader - he's idealistic, he's a do-er, he's not been overtly political and his POV matches mine on most of the larger issues
Frankly I'm surprised by this as my immediate thought is as a 3rd party candidate he'd be more likely to draw votes from the Democratic candidate than the Republican
And I know that he would not want to known as the man who fucked up the country by helping to elect a madman like Cruz or a dummy like Trump
Not a good legacy
It's likely that outside of NY he's not held in high regard - Jewish, wealthy, too liberal (not really), his anti soda push got headlines, he's short, fill in the blanks
IMO he's better than the two current Dem candidates - sort of a hybrid maybe between them
He'd need (like Bernie) foreign policy help in a big way
