It looks like leather, but it's just plastic glued (or however it's attached) to metal cutlery. Especially with the tea spoons I've been wondering if the glue or the plastic itself could be a health hazard if they're left in a hot tea mug. Another thing would be food bacterias getting stuck between the elements and rinsing the cutlery by hand. Will it hold together or fall apart soon?
Does anybody have experience with such fancy cutlery? I'm tempted to buy it, but I guess it won't last long.
