My mother had dementia as did my mother-in-law, a cousins husband and a few close friends.
I found myself a few years back in a place where I thought I might be starting to show early signs of this disease, I couldn't remember the name of the street that I live on, I was always(and still am) searching for words.
It turns out that my problems are related to what is called a TIA or mini stroke, I hesitate to mention it I on here as I don't want to use it as a reason for some just plain dumb grammatical errors that I have made.
Do you know or have you known anyone with a form of dementia?
Do you have concerns that you might one day be afflicted by it?
