JERUSALEM Israels gay community came under attack Thursday evening, after a Jewish extremist stabbed six people during the annual Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem.
This makes me very sad. No one will deny that historically, the Jewish people have been some of the most marginalized. From where I sit, everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. It is tragic that the assailant(s) at the Israeli Pride Parade are unwilling to grant homosexuals (who intend to harm no one) the benefit of the doubt. :(
