Fuck emptyclosets. This is really some messed up shit and I have the right to be upset. I understand trolling and things of that sort are really rampant and common nowadays, but I had a real issue and problem, and the way they treated me was bullshit.
There aren't that many LGBT message groups/forums, outside of reddit which I don't use, and facebook groups which I don't want people knowing my real name, and that's it. There is youtube but it's not really a message board.
Emptyclosets, alongside this website, and Realjock, maybe possibly Bodybuilding forum are kinda the only communities where guys who are gay can talk about issues.
It sucks that in places where you go to escape people who would normally think of you as a troll or delete your posts, it still happens within LGBT related sites.
So I had an EmptyClosets years and years ago that I used when I was in High School going through shit. I didn't post much on it, and I forgot about it.
I then lurked on the forum until present day. About a few days ago I posted a thread with a problem I had (you can view an archived version here, I also posted a screenshot if that isn't unavailable)

I had received a reply from someone later that day, which was very helpful and they gave great advice.
So I go back to that thread today to see if I had anymore replies, and not only was my thread deleted, but they never gave me any type of message or alert telling me why.
I actually had to go and use google cache as evidence that I did in fact make that post.
They deleted it because they thought I was a troll because I actually brought up a issue that isn't talked about and they didn't want to deal with it.
Yet if I made a thread talking about what One Direction member I had a crush on, the thread would have been acceptable.
I'm not saying Emptyclosets is a bad site, but I'm not ever going back there as a user or a lurker or otherwise ever.
This is not how you do things.
