So who cares? Well, UPS does. Due to the security measures in place for the duration of the weekend, UPS announced yesterday that it is suspending delivery and pick up services from Thursday the 24 to Saturday the 26th in the affected New York and Philadelphia zip codes. This means all deliveries and pickups scheduled for those days will be delayed until the following Monday the 28th. For Apple Fanboys who stayed up till 3:00 am on pre-order day to guarantee their shiny new pink iPhones will be delivered on Friday the 25th this is worse event in history of boner killers.
With their cocks just now permanently soft from the news, the Fanboys turn to their hive of like minds on the MacRumors Forums and overnight create an eight page thread about how religion ruins everything, and how the only good Pope is apparently one who would wave a magic iWand of some kind and make all the world's religions disappear so they can get their new phones on Friday. It makes for a very entertaining read, in my view, if only because a Pope who has stood so strongly againist consumerism has pissed off it's biggest adherents in New York and Philadelphia, completely unintentionally.
